The Cambridgeshire Bobby Scheme is a local charity set up by the Cambridgeshire Police Shrievalty Trust, that provides a service to older or vulnerable people by improving home security to reduce crime and the fear of crime. Two security advisors fit security devices to make people feel safer in their own homes again, they provide security advice and reassurance, fit key safes and carry out home fire safety checks and fit smoke alarms where appropriate.
